Day Of Silence
On April 11th, 2014 students will be staying silent to show support for the LGBTQ community.
The Day Of Silence is really something fun! It's not a competition to see who can last the whole day without talking. You can stay silent for the whole day or for 1 class period.
One of the reasons why I stay silent is because I believe in equal voice. It shouldn't matter who you are, who you love or what you believe in. We are all humans and we are all equal. So much can be said by saying nothing at all.
My school does this every year and thanks to our GSA, we are able to make the experience even that more great!
With every registration, you show that you are supporting the cause. Every one counts. We can all make a change.
