DRAWING MASTERCLASS AT PRINGLE OF SCOTLAND
I entered a competition with Pringle of Scotland to win a place at a drawing masterclass with illustrator Frida Wannerberger & won! Yay! I was so excited! My husband managed to help with the logistics of childcare for a midday midweek jaunt into the city of London! Below is Wannerbergers illustrations for Pringle Of Scotland A/W 2018. They are magical.
It has been a very long time indeed since I have done any drawing - life drawing - illustration - fashion illustration! Indeed the only fashion illustration I have done was a 2 day project at my foundation course at Central St Martins back in 2000!! Wowsers. Anyway I was super happy to get the opportunity to draw for the sake of drawing. No pressure of any kind of outcome or what it should look like. When the pressure is taken off drawing is actually very good fun.
Wannerbergers tips were great & suggestions for the next drawings. Ah it was super I really enjoyed myself. Other peoples work was so great & professional looking. My tips of drawing have come from - almost 20 years ago & it looks it! haha!
