This week's Friday Mixtape is by graphic designer Michael Satter. As a designer we've written about numerous times, whether it be about an identity he has worked on, a record sleeve or club posters for Oval Space and The Pickle Factory, we got the feeling that music was a driving force behind his design work, and we were right!
This gave me inspiration for thinking about mixtapes and what they are all about. I firstly love this little gif for the Friday Mixtape for Michael Satter. It is fun because of the bright colours that contrast as well as the humourus illustration as the main object. Creating some sort of mixtape that is then illustrated could be an interesting deliverable but this idea definitely needs more thought if I were to actually go through with it.
