Friday!! Who is excited by the announcements last night? Who is terrified that the “R” will increase? I feel I’m one of the lucky ones. My in-laws live over our fence and my mum around the corner. So we’ve seen them most days when we’ve dropped shopping or my mum has dropped our shopping. I’ve even seen friends in passing for a few minutes. But the announcement makes me feel sad that families like ours those with 6 or more already still can’t go and see grandparents & friends as a family. It makes me sad to think those children that are heading back to school with hope that it’s just as they left it. Of course it isn’t going to be. They won’t be able to hug their friends, they won’t even be able to sit at the table together. Sad that some parents don’t have the choice but to send them back. I’ve even contemplated it for my youngest two to help my sanity. But I am looking forward to maybe sitting with a cuppa or something stronger and catching up with my friends. In a group, in real life! If you are scared you are not alone. If you are excited you are not alone. If you are sad you are not alone. #fridaychat #lockdowneasing #friends #mumlifechats https://www.instagram.com/p/CAw22mClT7-/?igshid=9ccxwd9q11li
