Picked this up off the pile on the floor around 5PM….only because tv sucked
By the time i got to page 67-68 i was asking myself if i should continue this slow slow story. Is there perhaps a case for tooooo much character development? It was becoming a case of “why should i care about any of them”
But i refilled my wine glass and prepared a plate of snacks…. Figuring it was going to be a long tedious ride.
When i finally closed the book it was 3:28 AM. Where did the time go?
May i suggest that authors take a page from John Green re:An Abundance of Katherines. When a foreign word is used in the text of a novel…. It’s not a bad thing to use *footnotes. In fact it’s welcomed
As other Lippman plots, the ending was a surprise that I didn’t see coming.
