I couldn’t resist this week’s #FantasyonFriday all about #dragons which are so fun! Have you enjoyed my favorites - @gailcarsonlevine A Tale of Two Cities - in which I actually felt the heat and power of the dragon, yet also the camaraderie of it and look at the gorgeous wings on the cover - such skill as a writer also. And of course, Eragon from The Inheritance Cycle by @christopher_paolini with the amazing images throughout. I love the mug from @owlcratejr with mystical animals covering it and it seemed a perfect match with this very fragrant candle from @novellyyours too. My son painted the dragon when he was much younger and a dear friend gave me the @lalique dragonfly. I’ve collected dragonflies because - did you know - there is lore of them actually being tiny, shrunken 🐉 dragons? And they symbolize new beginnings and wisdom. ✨✨✨And I have a talking dragonfly in my novel so I just love them. I even found this wonderful fabric in Hawaii this summer with the dragonflies at #kapaiastitchery in Kauai. SO many wondrous fabrics there. What is your favorite dragon 🐉 tale? Or tail? 😀And can you guess the gem below as well? The shape is a hint…I’ll put it in the comments after you all guess a bit! Happy weekend and eerie #fridaythethriteenth #fullmoon too! #ataleoftwocities #gailcarsonlevine #eragon #christopherpaolinibooks https://www.instagram.com/p/B2W6TKGgREx/?igshid=budna17ekntl
