Leech Twin Co-Housewarden AU (Pt 1)

Characters: Azul, Jade, Floyd

General Info

Everyone is College age (18 and up)

First year Floyd becomes housewarden and Azul as vice

Floyd is terrible at his job and he makes Jade pretend to be him 80% of the time

Floyd is the acting head but Jade and Azul run everything

Mostro Lounge is a rowdy bar, and holds a secret fight club w/ betting (all through Azul's contracts)

The fight club is physically only, no magic allowed

Azul is in charge of all the betting and finances

Floyd runs it and provides commentary and joins in a lot of the time

Jade is there to break things up before someone dies

Crowley eventually finds out about Jade and Floyd interchangably being housewarden and just makes them co-housewarden

He knows about fight club but ofc Crowley doesn't care as long as no one dies (+ he gets a share of the profits sometimes)

Dynamics

Floyd and Jade do whatever they want and Azul bails them out most of the time

Azul would like to be housewarden, but he isn't confident in beating the both of them

The twins still find joy in teasing Azul and tries to toss him into the ring a couple of times

They threw him in successfully once and now Azul only sits in the office watching through cctv

Azul did win—he has killer grip and arm strength

Azul often tries to find the tweel's weaknesses hoping to usurp them one day

Jade knows what Azul wants to do and finds it entertaining and plays with him

Floyd doesn't care he didn't even want to be housewarden he just wanted to fight

Azul is the "backstabbing second in command" trope

The tweels find it endearing especially when he fails bc they know him too well

Honestly, his design was already something I really liked I just added the plume that the original sultan had He has some more gold jewelry bc he's rich LOL A cutie patootie <3 The feathers on him match with Jamil's He tries to do his makeup himself after their slight falling out, but it turned out a mess so he was forced to stop

The facial markings represent snake fangs, and the one on his chin is Jafar's ugly ass goatee He has snake tattoos just bc I think they're cool + thinking kalim and jamil got their tattoos around the same time His hair always splits into two in a ponytail, representing a snake tongue The feathers in his hair and earring represent Iago

Pomefiore

🜲 Vil:

His eyes are now the same green as the evil queen The earring is the same symbol in snow white for bringing back snow white's heart Corset bc queen is always snatched Blackened hair tips to better match the black hood the evil queen wears Necklace is similar to the pendent worn in the original He also has a beauty mark right above his lips

🜲 Rook:

Scars from his time hunting and being in Savanaclaw Wears archer gloves Keeps a concealed dagger on him - same model as huntsman in snow white unfortunately still subjected to that ugly fuck ass bob /aff The scar on his face is usually covered up along with his freckles

🜲 Epel:

His hair has the same color as the original poison apple It is naturally split dyed where the ends turn darker as they grow Vitiligo just bc I thought it fit his character + it's gorgeous Has an apple necklace and red studs for obvious reasons biiiig doe eyes Absolutely curses like a sailor when Vil isn't around and yet somehow gets caught every time

Ignihyde

He has tech tattoos that help channel his magic His left eye is modified to let him see through Ortho and communicate w/ him Heaaaavy eye bags and his eyes often twitch due to too much screen time Deathly pale and severely lacking in vitamin D Terrible posture and has shoulder and back pain from being hunched over all the time 100% the nastiest shit talking you've ever heard online Gacha addict but at least he's rich

Still a robot, but with some design changes for his base form The cords on his back let him access tech without an internet connection Freezes Idia's bank account when Idia tunnel visions After Ortho gained consciousness, he will sometimes randomly show Idia images of cat memes throughout the day via Idia's left eye Idia gave him a model change after he started enrolling (~age 10->16)

Diasomnia

⏾ Malleus:

His tail is always out, but somehow it is never captured in pictures His horns glow a faint green normally, but when emotions run high they glow brighter He can change his appearance but chooses to remain faithful to his original human look Black sclera is common in fae His palms and soles are purple in both human and dragon form His fangs poke out most of the time Doesn't retract his claws unless impractical

⏾ Lilia:

Lots of battle scars from when he was a general The one on his chest was from a fight he refuses to recount His bat wings are always tucked against his waist Even though he looks young at first, you can see the age in him upon closer inspection The red he used to have faded to pink as he aged (similar to how humans grow white hair) Bat ears!!

⏾ Silver:

His eyes are all the colors of an aurora depend on how the light hits His hair always has a holographic sheen even in the dark He always has a pouch on him full of seeds for any animals that approach him The bat-wing tattoo appeared when Lilia blessed him as a child He has aurora's necklace and headband

⏾ Sebek

He has a lot more crocodilian fae traits like the scales on his jaw The markings on his arms are also natural Some areas of his body have scales and his back has small crocodile spikes He has claws but most people think they're just sharp nails He has tiny fangs that look like longer than normal canines Somehow his brows are always furrowed

His scarf is similar to a chef's scarf w/ a clover pinning it together He always has some candies in his pocket, a habit built from when he would sneak Riddle candies in the past He forgets to take the hairpins out after he's finished cooking He constantly smells like sweets

❤︎⁠ Cater:

He's a south asian influencer Lightly influenced by 2000s-2010s fashion aesthetic He has a diamond-shaped bag that holds his makeup & accessories He bleaches his hair orange. He naturally has brown hair

He has a gap tooth bc I got influenced by all the bunny Deuces out there hehe He also has scars from his earlier years as a delinquent He keeps his tips blonde to remind himself of why he's studying hard, and until he's satisfied, he will continue to have bleached tips He has a dogtag as a symbol of him wishing to be a police officer in the future He has a standard japanese schoolbag bc he is very serious abt school with little spade accessories (his mom got it for him)

He has a split eyebrow bc he thinks it's cool He wears headphones most of the time Has a mullet now because he thinks it's cool, and he 2 natural hair colors His birthmark covers the left half of his face, and it almost looks like a mask

Savanaclaw

Given royalty, he wears beads in his hair, and he has some braids woven into his locs He keeps himself well-groomed, so no stubble He wears some gold jewelry as it's just become a habit, and he's gotten used to it He got his scars from brawls when he was younger Has retractable claws

𓃠 Ruggie:

He wears a scarf to cover the most vulnerable part of his body, which is a habit he developedfrom his rough upbringing His scars were mainly from battles over food back home His hair is freeform dreads and naturally has a gradient Doesn't have retractable claws

𓃠 Jack:

He has a few chips in his ears from injuries when he was a child The tooth on his necklace is his missing canine because he lost it during an incident He has loose dreads Doesn't have retractable claws

Octavinelle

𖦹 Azul:

He has kept his octopus eyes, but despite having perfect vision, they're sensitive to intense colors, so special glasses are necessary He kept some octopi spots that people mistake for freckles He has a natural hair gradient He presents partly east asian for self-indulgence reasons LMFAO He is a transman (more abt trans azul)

𖦹 Jade:

His markings from his eel form look more like tattoos + they glow mutely in the dark Perfect night vision, but struggles with seeing things during the day Keeps pharyngeal jaws & claw fingertips Shorter & neater hair than Floyd Face blind

𖦹 Floyd:

His markings from his eel form are more prominent and glow in the dark He has webbing, and his claws + scales on his forehead + the inside of his mouth did not undergo any transformation Keeps pharyngeal jaws Longer & messier hair than Jade Name blind

Azul Trans HCs 🏳️‍⚧️

(Note: Still new to tumblr so formatting might be weird! Sorry! + projecting a bit of my own experiences onto him oopsies)

Azul is a trans man, but doesn't go about it in the very traditional sense. Transness isn't uncommon or seen as outside the norm among merfolk, esp since I believe merfolk follow closer to fish society and anatomy—where gender changes are normal (eg. clownfish)

However, since Azul is an octopus merman, he cannot change his gender at will, and has to rely on potions for gender affirming care. Eg. lowering his voice, reducing breast mass, etc. (I do like to think that he did get top surgery somehow because in his octoform it fits perfectly and I've always thought the scars were pretty)

He never struggled much with gender dysphoria, mostly feeling out of place because of body dysmorphia. Esp when puberty hit and he felt his chest developing. It only increased his body dysmorphia, where even if he wasn't trans, I feel he would find a way to get some kind of breast reduction.

Additionally, it would also make sense why he was pudgier when he was younger, esp his human half being human where women store more fat than men. His tentacles have remained the same size as he grew and only his human half has changed in weight

I also imagine Azul in his octo form is twice the length and probably triple the size of the twins, which makes sense if he was AFAB since female octopi are much larger than male. But, he's shorter in human form since women are usually shorter than men biologically

On land, whenever he's asked if he is trans or not he won't directly answer. If he were asked if he was a trans man, he would reply that he was a man. Same thing if he was asked if he was a cis man, where he would reply that he is a man.

Really only the Leech twins know about his past and neither one really bring it up because it falls in line with the NDA abt his past. + Azul only hides this part of him because it relates to him being bigger when he was younger which is the main reason he hides it //Warning: Genitalia Talk

I've always HCed merfolk as hermaphroditic. That being said, they still have a sex, male or female, where only 1 part technically functions. (Eg. only male merfolk can produce sperm / only female merfolk can lay eggs.)

On land, since he only takes potions that provide care but not necessarily change his gender (he didn't feel there was a point in the sea since merfolk have both parts) he would have female anatomy

I don't think this bothered him, since merfolk store their genitalia in slits anyway. It was probably a bigger shock for the twins just having their thang hanging out LOL.

I do think it's kind funny to think about him experiencing a period for the first time on land and that's when he decided to take a potion to change to male because it was just impractical. (Plus I hate periods kill kill kill die die die)
