the next time frightfully-groovy and I are in town at the same time I am going to bring the drumsticks she bought me on pure faith literally the first day we met irl, explain this to the Music Shop Guy (earlier I started absently drumming with my knuckles on a snare and he looked up at me like I was playing a Marilyn Manson riff on his grandma), express how unfair it is that Florence should have gone to such expense without having ever heard me play properly, and look, I have my own sticks, I clearly play drums,
