can i just take a hot minute to talk about @maenadist, for your regular dosage of lesbian lightning bug. one thing that has always amazed me about all of mars’ characterisation is that they never compromise larxene’s terrible personality. they don’t excuse the terrible things she’s done, or will do in the future, but they do provide insight into her thought process while writing about these terrible acts. and their writing is !! so lovely omg. i’ve been following them since the beginning of my roleplay career and they have improved so much !! their interpretation has always been spot on for me, i am always amazed by their response structure, poetic diction, macabre insight, and spot on dialogue. not to mention mars is really nice! they’ve helped me in my slumps and convey and honest and down to earth feel through ooc messages. if you’re not triggered easily by the storm cloud that is larxene, you should check them out!!
breaking the rule above to broadcast my adoration for @frigidist !! tea throws all they have into their muses! even if they can’t throw back because they’re all dead. i’ve also been following them since the beginning of my roleplay career and follow them through many muses because they’re all so qualitea. it seems through all the responses i read they keep up a constant stream of poetic imagery and a willingness to experiment with their writing which i love !! more than anything what i love about tea’s blogs and jack in particular is how much they love the characters. what dedication! what phantasmal adoration! it’s very beautiful. similarly, what makes me smile when i think of their url is of course the emotion that goes into the responses; the empathy that they invoke using only words is amazing, the same can be said for the introspection of their headcanons. there is nothing i don’t love about what they do.
