A pred getting a bit too into their role during a fearplay experience with their prey, causing the prey to became truly afraid and require comfort:

Prey: "Alright, go at me! I'm ready!"

Pred: "Alright.... Hm-" *pulls them close, sniffing them* ".... Ahhh... You know, im just now noticing how good you smell today." *Pecks their cheek, licking lips* "... If i didnt know any better, I'd say you got one of those food flavored perfumes~"

Prey: "Ah... i didnt-"

Pred: *Chuckles* "Well that's going to make eating such a morsel like you even better! I can already feel my insides churning to have you~" *Pulls them against chest, smirking* "Can you hear it? My heart is raging with excitement, little snack~"

Prey: *Sweats* "S-so loud .... What are you going to do?" *puts on meek voice*

Pred: "I'll tell you-" *Lifts them up, expressing teeth* ".... Im going to eat you up until there's nothing left..." *Growls and bites at them*

Prey: "Eep!!" *gasps*

Pred: "Scared, are you? Well scream all you like, i enjoy food that struggles... you'll only entertain me~" *Dark laugh*

Prey: *Covers ears, whimpering* "... Y-you really are in character this time..."

Pred: *Stops* "Character? Ha! You think I'm joking?! Why would i pretend when it comes to a mere snack like you!! No... I've been waiting for this moment my whole life~"

Prey: "Huh?!"

Pred: *Brings them closer and licks them* "Mmm..."

Prey: "Ah!"

Pred: "... Ahh, delicious. I should've known you'd taste amazing. The only reason you're still seeing daylight is because of your taste. It's ravicing~"

Prey: *Stares with wide eyes* "...h-hey, (pred name) , just so we're clear you're just pretending r-right?"

Pred: *Growls again* ".... Why am i not surprised a pitiful prey hopes im playing pretend. My dear, if i was acting i would have stopped long ago!"

Prey: *Stiffens* "...wait.... No- hold on, you're joking arent you?! You're acting!"

Pred: "Ohhh, that sweet pleading... Give me more, if you're lucky I'll eat it up before you. Actually, i should stop wasting my time and finish you off right now!" *Holds them above mouth*

Prey: *Heavy breaths* "No! (Pred name) stop, I'm serious!!"

Pred: "Bottoms up!! I cant wait to feel you becoming a part of me... Be sure to kick on the way down, snack~" *lowers them feet first*

Prey: *Kicks* "Ahh!! N-no! Come on, I'm done- i didnt mean it before! (Pred name) Dont eat me!.... P-please....!!" *Tearing up*

Pred: *Pauses*

Prey: "Help!"

Pred: *Eyes widen* "Oh shoot- hey!" *Stops and puts them down, looking at them* "Yo, oh geeze... You're really terrified aren't you?!"

Prey: *Sniffles, nodding*

Pred: "Aw, i thought you were acting!....im so sorry-" *Hugs them*

Prey: *Clings to them, whimpering* "....i-its ok.... I-i wasnt ready is all..."

Pred: "..... You know, i think we could use a safe word."
