Commission for @irikahkrios of his vision of Irikah. I went to town with the whole sunset eyes thing, since it's the only description we have of her, and tried to work in some of Kolyat's features. Really happy with the outcome!

Happy Frill Friday! (◡ ‿ ◡ ✿) Have a couple WIPS (commission and a personal piece).
A couple more! I'm also working on some ladies, and then, the canon drell! :)
I never remember to post for WIP Wednesday, so here's a couple works in progress for Frill Friday instead! I'm still determined to do 4 of these to go along with the male drell busts I posted a few months back.
I heard that Frill Friday used to be a thing, so here's a WIP of a very worked up drell! :)
I like to think the frill can spread like a cobra's hood, even though from what I've seen in the concept art, it's probably intended to be more like a vocal sac? That would explain why Kelham called Thane a frog to insult him.
Anyway, this is my first time drawing a human(oid!) snarl. Way outside my comfort zone, but hopefully it looks ok!
It's Frill Friday again!
Some work in progress on my own drell, Anthea Nireus. When I first started brainstorming her, I discarded green as an option, because I wanted her to be different from Thane, but sometime last year I got into plant keeping and learned about calatheas. The underside of their leaves is a very rich purple/mauve, and that inspired her colour scheme.
It does go well with my headcanon that green is the most common colour among drell though!
Hopefully we'll get to see female drell in the next game, but in the meantime, this is how I like to imagine them. There isn't a lot of sexual dimorphism, and a lot of it overlaps in individuals, but generally females have a smaller crest and a clear chin. Also maybe more muted colours?
Commission WIP for WIP Wednesday Frill Friday!
