Primus - Frizzle Fry LP The 90's was an explosive time for originality. Just before the grunge era dominated, we saw so many terrific bands blazing their way through musical diversity in a showcase of pure love of music. Love them or hate them, they took the punk rock ethos of never sounding like another band you've heard and broke down all of the walls. When we discuss Primus we can see how all of the rules established in standard rock and roll were discarded and an evolution of, what I would consider to be, prog rock was created. Opening with the track titled "To Defy The Laws Of Tradition" is perfectly fitting for this debut album from the only band to ever sound like Primus.
