Hey froffer just to ask what website do you use to get link of your drawing

You got any tips to add images on ao3

i used to used postimages.org but they’re really harsh on the censorship 😭 they don’t give you warnings or explanations, just suddenly make the image unavailable

id recommend it to at least try first as i imagine it’s a bit easier to use for first timers (you just have to paste it into rich text and it’ll paste as a straight image as long as you paste it correctly; easy to know if smth’s wrong, maybe not what tho. and then press enter a couple times to leave a open paragraph to paste into if you’re posting multiple images, esp if you’re on mobile)

BUT, because of that stupid censorship system, i currently use freeimage.host. you need an account to use it, unlike postimages, and any images you wanna post will have to actively exist on your account almost like a portfolio or social media page— but you’re entirely capable of creating private folders if you’d rather not take any risks of people seeing your images there!

i haven’t experienced too many censorship issues with it, and the few times i did were, in hindsight, honestly prolly due to other issues outside of my control. you also have to paste it directly into the HTML format and it won’t show as an image while editing even when you switch to rich text (you can preview the chapter or save it as a draft to make sure it’s working).

and the only real tips i have for adding images on ao3 other than this stuff is that you should probably check on them regularly/occasionally just to make sure something hasn’t gone wrong w em, and if your image has been taken down/replaced w a notice image, don’t panic. think about why it might’ve been taken down, and if you can’t think of a genuine “normal-person” (lmao-) reason or find anything in the TOS(? I think, i don’t usually check it unless im feeling paranoid <3), just repost the image into your hosting site and use the new link. if the problem persists despite this and there’s nothing inherently taboo or “wrong” about your image, switch to a different site (one of these ones or one you find yourself) and just try again. maybe even wait a while in case it’s an outside-your-control issue

Question: would you be alright with you or your au of tsams to be posed on an AI site? you'll be fully credited, it won't happen without your consent, and only characters you say are okay will be posted. I can also link the site if you would like?

if anything resembling anything i make is gonna be put on an AI site, i want it to be privated and used solely for the individual person’s purpose(s).

i don’t like the idea of something that’s less inspired by and more mimicking of what i make gaining traction/popularity without any ability to control it myself. things like art, fics, etc inspired by my content and/or creations are one thing, but with AI it basically acts as though it’s its own original thing it created on its own— it won’t have the ability to remain faithful to the intended interpretation like a person wholly controlling the narrative would.

like i said before, i can’t (and won’t) control other people, but it becomes more of a problem when it’s a thing that affects a greater crowd :P

can't chane the acc for some reason, but how do you feel abt ai? I know there are ery mixed opinions and personally i believe if we make it eat less water and stop stealing content without permission it's actually quite interesting, but I also understand people's distaste for it

id honestly rather keep any AI-related opinions i have to myself. i will not enforce them onto other people, and i dont want other people to enforce theirs onto me in the off chance my opinion is taken too negatively for whatever reason. people can use it, people can hate it, and they will— i cant control anybody so it sorta just doesn’t feel worth it to throw my opinion on it out there :P
