Today’s Important Announcements come from the frogs at Bellthorpe Stays in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in Queensland!
We met 12 frog species this weekend at the very successful Bellthorpe Frog Camp run by Jono Hooper from the Queensland Frog Society! A big thank you to everyone involved! 🐸

The last Gorgeous Friend to visit us at Bellthorpe Frog camp - the Slender Bleating Frog (Litoria balatus). (Bonus points if you can find him in the first picture!)
New Gorgeous Green Friends we met at Bellthorpe Frog Camp! Pearson’s Stream Frogs (Litoria pearsoniana) in amplexus, Red-eyed Tree Frog (Litoria chloris), and many many Eastern Dwarf Tree Frogs (Litoria fallax)! 🐸
We met two new Barred Frog species at the Bellthorpe Frog Camp this week! This is the beautiful Great Barred Frog (Mixophyes fasciolatus)! They sung a lovely chorus of “WARK” for us!
Three lovely ground frogs who came out to say hi at Bellthorpe Frog Camp! A Dusky Toadlet or Dusky Gungan (Uperoleia fusca) with Fantastic Orange Sleeves, a Striped Marsh Frog (Limnodynastes peronii), and a lady Tusked Frog (Adelotus brevis) with Beautiful Red Tights!
Some more New Frog Friends from the Bellthorpe Frog Camp! The Striped Rocket Frog (Litoria nasuta), the Broad-palmed Rocket Frog (Litoria latopalmata), and the Eastern Stony Creek Frog (Litoria wilcoxii), male and female!
