( i had pretty good experiences in mlp fandom, tbh. i remember my time there fondly. 9 fandom was also real good; even when people disagreed on things like ships, they did so civilly. there wasn’t much in the way of drama, small as the fandom was, and pretty much everyone knew each other. )

Now here was a face Casey didn’t get to see often, but it was a very much welcome sight to see. He had always seen Germ as a fairly good friend, and had even helped bring that nickname of his to popularity, and he’d fish out a pack of cigs to sneak one out, placing it in his lips before holding the carton out to Germ as an offer with a light grin,
“Want a smoke? First one’s on the house, but ya ask for any more and I might have to start chargin’ ya!”
"GREGG." Germ said, perhaps a bit too loudly. He probably didn't need to yell; he was outside of their apartment. "GREGGORY. IT'S GERM."
What the hell was that noise?? It sounded like Germ, but loud. Germ could be loud??? The bewildered fox opens the window of the apartment and looks down to see his friend down there waiting for him.
“GERM, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU YELLING ABOUT?” He retorts in a similarly loud tone. Really they could’ve just like, spoke through the intercom or something rather than shouting at each other so loud the entire town could hear them.
"Yeah, but I mean, it still counts as a crush even if we're dating."
“True, you make like... Way more good points than a lot of people I know”
