Really excited to launch a dream publication with my better half Tyler Sharp this Monday, October 2. For those of you who may not know him, Tyler is a traveling outdoor photographer and writer who has been working for over a decade to produce captivating stories from the field. Now the time has come to compile all of these experiences into a 200-page bound magazine with additional contributors from all over the country, for outdoor enthusiasts around the world. In Bangladesh, Democracy International Celebrates New Class of Youth Leaders

Dhaka, Bangladesh -- On September 26, Democracy International officially welcomed its eighth class of youth leaders, participants in DI’s youth fellowship in Bangladesh, an exciting component of DI’s USAID- and DFID-funded Democratic Participation and Reform program. The new class includes 26 emerging political leaders from the Awami League and Bangladesh Nationalist Party. Over the next four months, the fellows will receive training on political outreach and communications, campaign management, media relations, advocacy, ethical leadership, preventing political violence, and public opinion research. In addition, they will conduct advocacy campaigns and organize conferences with their political parties in their home district.  The program is aimed at supporting emerging youth leaders by increasing their capacity for responsible party leadership. In addition to receiving training, this class will work alongside the 181 members of DI’s youth fellowship alumni base to advance grassroots advocacy campaigns. In the past, fellows have supported intraparty dialogue, led public safety campaigns, and more.  For more on the youth fellowship, see:
