Front door camera
I’m looking to add a front door camera. I’m primarily looking at doorbell options, but am open to other suggestions. What are you all using? How do you like it?
From what I see the two primary options are Nest and Ring. Looks like Nest camera may be better but Ring has a cheaper and longer storage plan. I have a nest thermostat and smoke detector, so Im leaning towards the Nest Hello. I was also considering the cheaper option of a Blink XT camera, currently on sale for $60. Much cheaper than the two doorbell options over $200 each. The Blink is battery powered whereas the doorbells connect to the doorbell electrical.
Of course I will include the presence of a camera in my listing.
