This whole event was really cool and D Magazine participated by joining up with The Big Read Dallas to get donations to buy copies of Fahrenheit 451 for DISD students as well as signing people up for library cards. I just wish more companies participated and that more people could have gone, but it being held in the middle of the day on a Friday, I guess people couldn't get away from work even for a little bit.

We're unabashed fans of the State Fair of Texas, which kicks off this Friday. But the Brandpointe team is especially impressed with the fair's efforts to get more interactive this year, launching an online photo contest with NeighborsGo and getting very social on Facebook and Twitter. What's more, D Magazine reports that fans of the annual month-long event could soon be getting more to love in Fair Park, announcing that the venue plans to debut the Summer Adventures theme park next May; the publication's FrontBurner blog notes that the new project will "feature something approximating the State Fair of Texas Midway experience with rides, food, and games."

Apparently there are a few cast members who are jealous of Pam since they seem to use her name in blog tags in order to obtain press for themselves.  If they were not jealous of her they would not post such rubbish, they would not even speak about her.
