Hi there! I'm really curious about Cliodhna. Would you mind sharing what she's like, from your experience? There's not much lore, as I'm sure you know!
Of course!
I found out about her in the context of a “love goddess,” but to me she’s much more a “goddess of communication.” I call on her a lot with work stuff, conflict resolution, things like that.
I feel Brigid as a mother and the Morrigan as an aunt, but Cliodhna is more of an older sister. Maybe it’s because she’s more of a “risen Fae” than an outright god, but we seem to be on more of a peer level than I am with the other deities I work with.
Offering-wise, I’ve found she really likes in-season, light tasting fruit, and crisp white wine. Although in general the way I pick my offerings is I just grab whatever the gods lead me to in the grocery store, so my offerings are almost always food anyway. I associate her with small birds and apples as her primary symbols.
She’s very beautiful, very touchy, and very caring. She’ll gently nudge you towards what she wants you to do, or arrange situations around you so that they happen.
If you’ve got more specific questions that I didn’t really answer feel free to ask more!! This is just generally what I’ve found with her.

Bonus points for saying “females”
Lol yeah I didn’t even notice that at first because I’m so used to men calling me a female instead of a woman.
I’m Madison, 34, from Nova Scotia, Canada.
I’m a femme queer dykewho’s into women and non-binary folks who are femme-ish or woman-aligned in some way.
Of course I’m open to dating other trans girls! Trans girls are THE RADDEST.
NEVER READ THE COMMENTS
I loved, LOVED LOVED frontier-heart‘s recent piece in the Huffington Post, I was nodding my head and agreeing with everything she said the entire time.
Then, like a dope, I read the comments.
Fucking entitled, know-me-better-than-I-know-myself cis people. It’s people like them that are going to make me lose my sister and my parents when I come out (this isn’t just fear talking; I have pretty solid evidence that they'll never accept trans people as valid).
Anyway, go read FH’s guest column, because it’s awesome and deserves all the hits, but burn the comments section to the ground.
I'd like to expand on my previous apology. I made an assumption about the trans experience in relation to privilege and I was wrong. I was basically guessing about something I have no personal experience with, and I shouldn't have done that. What I said was wrong, misleading, and hurtful. Unintentionally, and due to my ignorance, I was making an argument that was transmisogynistic. I'm horrified to have made such a mistake. As I said before, I should have just kept my mouth shut and let trans women speak for themselves and from their lived experience. Trans women struggle to be represented in feminism, and as someone who runs a feminist blog, I should have known better. To all trans women, I am so so so sorry for what happened. I want to thank all the people who pointed out how problematic and harmful I was being. I learned why what I was saying was wrong. Thank you for taking the time, even in your anger, to explain why I was wrong. I've learned a valuable lesson.

Lana Wachowski receives the HRC Visibility Award: youtu.be/crHHycz…
the hrc has such a long history of transphobia and trans misogyny, like literally supporting transphobic and transmisogynist legislation in the past - basically, trying to throw trans people under the bus to get acceptance - i'm skeptical that they'd suddenly be supportive when it's no sweat off their brow - but i'm glad they did something positive re: trans women for once
