One of the things Vidar does in the village is helping raise the horses and train them. This mare, Trölsa, is one he raised himself, and incidentally, the one who chew on Froste’s hair in that other piece of art :3

It was early spring the day Vidar arrived to the village. The winter had been harsh, and when the roads were possible to travel again word was spread the village had lost it’s healer. Wandering to find somewhere to settle for a while, Vidar had found himself far up north for his own people, taking a liking to the lands. So, as he heard of the need of the village, he went.

Then he stayed.
