EDIT: I've made my decision, and I'm gonna delete almost every single post on this blog and my old one, @ben10memelordarchive. As I mentioned in the screenshots, this fandom has given me too many painful memories I'd rather not relive. (Not to mention seeing the same 5 hot takes over and over in the Ben 10 tag, but whatever.) I'm just gonna post OC and fanart stuff from now on. No more hot takes. No more debates. Just posting for fun.

Thanks for having me as your Ben10Memelord. It's time for me to move on.

It's weird having zero sympathy for someone who died but also believing it shouldn't have happened that way. Like I'm not upset that a specific person died, but I don't like that it was murder. I also feel bad for the families. Regardless of what someone did or didn't do their families now have to live with the knowledge that someone in their life was murdered.

Despite this I don't really have sympathy. This isn't just talking about one specific person but recent events brought it to mind again. How am I supposed to have sympathy for someone who I don't know personally and who has done things in life that hurt (and killed) others?

I believe that all life is precious, and that includes people I hate. I don't believe that it should have resulted in murder, but I am not surprised it did. Peaceful options are being smothered. If you remove peace as an option then violence WILL happen.

It feels strange. Most Liberal spaces I've seen are outright celebrating. Most Conservative spaces are ignoring the harm done. I don't feel like I fit in with either group when something like this happens. If I don't condone violence and murder, then I can't condone violence and murder for people I hate.
