Strange relationship for Anna & Elsa ??? Or its me ???????

Far be it from me to alienate "Elsanna" shippers—after all, everyone is free to like whatever pairing they want, provided they don't try to force it on others or disparage other people's ships. That’s why I’m sticking to my "Helsa" lane.

But I wanted to ask my fellow Helsa fans: am I the only one who finds the way the Frozen saga portrays the relationship between Elsa and Anna a bit strange at times?

Personally, I’ve always found Anna very clingy with Elsa—borderline suffocating—and extremely possessive. To me, these behaviors prevent Elsa from ever truly being free. I love seeing beautiful family dynamics, but something about this specific portrayal bothers me. Mind you, I might say something shocking here, but regarding fanon—specifically the Elsanna ship—it doesn't bother me because, well, it's fanon… But in the actual canon, the boundaries feel weird sometimes.

I feel like the saga sidelines the romance between Anna and Kristoff in favor of the more strained relationship between the sisters. I’m not sure if that makes sense—sorry!

I hope that for Frozen III and IV, we get to see Elsa doing her own thing (and if we get Hans and Helsa, that would be paradise, obviously XD) while Anna and Kristoff do theirs. I know the sisters' relationship is central to the saga, but after more than ten years and two new movies, it’s high time we saw them in a different light. Especially since Anna is Queen now; technically, she shouldn't just be able to leave the kingdom whenever she wants to go on adventures. A little logic, please! XD

It would be interesting to see the sisters living out their own separate adventures across two movies—maybe communicating via magic now and then—and only reuniting at the very end of Frozen IV. I know it’s unlikely to happen, but it would be so cool. We could have some Anna/Kristoff moments that tie into Arendelle and Elsa (and Hans ;))—but also go beyond Arendelle. I want that!!!!!

I’ve strayed from the original topic, but what do you think? Am I wrong? Is my idea for FIII and FIV good or lame?

If people only could open their eyes a little...

The thing that got me the most about Helsa is how Hans was always able to understand her, like in every single scene they have ever had together he was capable of that and it felt like he wasn't even trying to do that, it was just a natural thing between them.

So when I saw this comment under one of my tiktok edits and I've decided to elaborate on that a little.

Helsa is a ship people like to hate on for no reason and it's been going for years now. Although what I've noticed lately is that even if the haters say how much they hate the ship, how dumb it is and all - they will still say Hans understood Elsa. I swear, I've had like 10000+ comments full of helsa hate but they always mention how he understood her. I don't know what's the deal about it because if people can admit that he did... why still sooooo much hate. I mean I've been here, with Helsa and tumblr since F1 came out so it is nothing new for me, we as a fandom are used to this but It really makes me upset.

It truly amazes me every day how in todays world Enemies To Lovers trope in movies, books etc is probably the most loved trope ever but yet, people deny it when it comes to Helsa???? Strange.

Idk maybe it's all caused by the Oh Anna scene that caused all of yall some huge PTSD like it happened to me, maybe that's why😂😂

I was wondering if any of you have the novel, "Conceal, Don't Feel/Let It Go" by Jen Calonita, in its original English version?

Why, you might ask?

Well, since I don't yet have the original version myself, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to take photos or scan the passages between Hans and Elsa.

I was wondering if there might be differences between the original English version and other translations around the world. We all know that depending on the country, the same passage can sometimes have significant differences in the text.

So, just curious.

Have any of you read this novel in different languages? And noticed any differences?

I find the subject of translation fascinating, and it can change quite a lot in how a story is experienced.

I wanted to know if Helsa in this novel—which, as a reminder, is official but not canon in the main timeline—is perceived differently or not.

PS: Oh, and also, has anyone come across any fan art of them for this novel? Personally, I've never seen any, and I find that so sad.
