Frozen Pints & Terrapin Beer Co. Launch Moo-Hoo Mint

Get it while it's cold! Just in time for the temperatures to drop, Frozen Pints has joined forces with Athens, Georgia’s award-winning Terrapin Brewing Company to release its first in a series of limited edition flavors, “Moo-Hoo Mint” craft beer ice cream. 

What does it taste like? Frozen Pints Moo-Hoo Mint combines "the rich and creamy chocolate flavors from one of Terrapin’s most popular brews, Moo-Hoo Chocolate Milk Stout, made with cocoa nibs from Nashville Chocolatier Olive & Sinclair with added hints of peppermint."

Moo-Hoo Mint is 2.6% ABV and is in coolers now at retail locations throughout Georgia.

Coming to a Taco Mac Near You... Frozen Pints!

Let's face it, we pretty much all have a Taco Mac near us and now the pervasive Atlanta restaurant chain is adding beer-infused ice cream from Frozen Pints to its menus starting tomorrow!

Why the exclamation point? Because it's JUST.THAT.GOOD. So good it makes us go a little punctuation crazy... and let's grab the keys and go get some crazy.

According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Frozen Pints will be available at select Taco Mac locations beginning August 1 to include:

#12 - Furthermore Beer and Frozen Pints

Summer Break continues at Casa de Russell as we talk about Knot Stock from Furthermore Beer and Malted Milk Chocolate Stout ice cream from Frozen Pints. 

Knot Stock is an American Pale Ale infused with cracked black pepper. Brewing with wacky ingredients like black pepper is risky because the line between "I can't taste it" and "Oh god what" is incredibly thin. Furthermore does a solid job of walking that very fine line. Unfortunately, they also fall prey to the same fate as almost every "pepper" beer I've ever had. "Oh, that's neat. Interesting flavor. I like it. I could only ever drink one of these, though."

After the candy pop from episode 11, we thought we'd sweeten things up EVEN MORE by reviewing ice cream. Ice Cram from Frozen Pints is relevant, however, because it is made with beer. We sampled the Malted Milk Chocolate Stout flavor.
