Learn how to freeze your favorite cookie dough and bake delicious cookies right out of the freezer!
Ingredients: 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 1 teaspoon salt. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 2 large eggs. 2 cups chocolate chips.
Instructions: In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until creamy and smooth. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, until well combined. Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Scoop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze until the cookie dough balls are firm, about 1-2 hours. Once the cookie dough balls are frozen, transfer them to a resealable plastic bag. Label the bag with the date and type of cookie dough. When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 375F 190C. Place the frozen cookie dough balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each dough ball. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still slightly soft. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
