Ingredients: 2 cups elbow macaroni. 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese. 1 can 12 ounces evaporated milk. 1 1/2 cups milk. 1/4 cup butter, melted. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
Instructions: Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and flour until smooth to create a roux. Pour evaporated milk, regular milk, and roux into the slow cooker. Stir until well combined. Add cooked macaroni and shredded cheddar cheese to the slow cooker. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir to combine. Cover and cook on low heat for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy and heated through. Serve hot and garnish with additional shredded cheese if desired.
