Anna had been his first human friend in so long. She’s shown him that he doesn’t have to be cold. While half of him wants to punch Hans the other half knows Anna would never want him to do that. So, he remains reasonable. Anger never suited someone of his kind temperament anyways.

A new journey

She had looked at Hans As he asked her to stay at first her body told her no. But the same look in his eyes remained for the moment that she had met him. And it was Christmas. Elsa was fully queen so there was no throne to be had. They could run off somewhere. “We could try us again. You and me. I still have feelings for you. I don’t know if their the same as they once were. But I’m willing to try again.” She paused. Then her inner voice said. (Wait a. Minute. What about your mission?) that’s right. Her mission. Then she had an idea. “Hans, You know… - I could use a guide with me on my trip. It’s to the enchanted forest. I want to see what lies beyond. It’s like something is calling to me there. Would you want to go with me ? We could try again. I am sure if they know your with me. You won’t be here and. “She said nervously when she put a strand of hair behind her head. "Hold on. "She said as she left to talk to the king and the others. She was surprised how easily it was for them to have the thorn out of their side. Or so the king. Told her. She was given to the keys for the cell he was kept in. She then after saying her thanks made her way back to the dungeon where Hans was. She made her way back to Hans and she held up the key "so. Will you help us. Me. Out?"she asked.
