I love your blog so much! I wish that I get to know Elsa’s interests and hobbies
Thank you! And I agree with you there - there’s a few things mentioned in various comics and books, but through the movies we usually see Elsa in crisis moments or on some sort of quest. We don’t get much of an idea of what she does in her down-time. So here are some of my headcanons/theories!
Since she spent so much time alone in her room as a child/teenager, she must have discovered some hobbies to occupy herself while she wasn’t doing official royal duties. I think it makes sense for her to be into art of some kind. From her ability to build magnificent ice castles, I reckon she had an interest in architecture, geometry, and design. She probably liked to read too - Belle in Beauty and the Beast uses books as a way to have ‘adventures’ away from her boring life, so it’s likely that Elsa also used them as an escape. Though she may have preferred factual books to fiction, since she could learn more about the world she was kept away from.
Once she was able to go out, I think Elsa discovered some more active, outdoorsy interests. She takes to riding the Nokk very well, so I think deep down she’s a horse girl. She might also enjoy swimming and rock climbing. After spending ten years mostly indoors as a child, Elsa probably enjoys getting to exert herself physically and be more active. I also think she and Anna are both animal lovers.
