okay okay so im in this argument with this girl about rose and i literally cannot get through her thick skull because all she says is that rose is clingy, bitchy, annoying, and deserved to die wHICH SHE DID NOT. send help sos

Rose Tyler deserves some respect! Maybe that girl is bitter because Rose Tyler is flawed. Rose grew up with a mother that had to work all the time and money was always an issue. Honestly, Rose probably didn't have many expectations for her life. She probably wore the same pair of jeans for as long as she could because Jackie couldn't afford new ones for her! Rose got a job as early as was possible to help Jackie with expenses. Did Rose do things for herself? Yes, she found friendship/grounding in Mickey Smith, but Rose Tyler was alone for a lot of her life!! She didn't grow up with material things, but with people. SO YES, Rose Tyler has more of a tendency to become very attached to people.
Rose received a mediocre at best education, probably not excelling in any one subject. But she passed school and made Jackie proud. However, Rose is morally educated and just, strong willed, and proud. There are many moments in the show where Rose is head-to-head with someone of huge importance and she ends up teaching them a lesson. She comes face to face with this big eared alien and she just accepts him? She gets it and ends up surprising the last-of-his-kind Time Lord. The thing with Rose is that she feels everything and she certainly has an opinion about everything. Some people could call it bitchy? Rose is anything but PASSIVE and it might frustrate some viewers? Rose Tyler is the Doctor's moral compass much more than any other companions of new!who have been. His pink and yellow girl.
Nothing is more extraordinary than being completely human, breakable, and impressionable. AND a fun reminder that Rose is so important and radiant that she needed a whole new parallel universe to contain her. :))))
