How I feel about this character 

I think John means well and be kind of adorable a lot of the time. I think he's definitely grown a lot from his almost ditzy, childish self. He still has his moments where I think he's just stupid. But he's really matured and grown on me lately. I think he's actually really funny now and pretty self aware. I like how he doesn't put up with shit now and is more blunt.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

Vriska and sometimes Rose because Rose and John is cute when it's fluffy.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Him and Jade as a really sweet brother and sister relationship, him and Karkat as just friends, him and Dave as bros

My unpopular opinion about this character

He likes Rick Astley and has every album by him.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Sometimes I wish he wasn't so oblivious.

How I feel about this character

I think Karkat is pretty great even through all his angstyness. He's really relatable and I can understand his feels for a lot of the other characters. He also has some of the best lines and insults.

Dave, Terezi, occasionally Sollux, and sometimes nepeta.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Dave as bros, Sollux <>, Kanaya <>, and Meenah as bros.

My unpopular opinion about this character

I think Karkat secretly wrote fanfiction about the romcoms he watched.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Sometimes I wish he would just realize that he can't change stuff and move on, taking charge in his life. Wallowing in self pity is never healthy. I also wish that he just took Terezi and kissed her already instead of waiting so long to tell her how he felt.
