So, here's an interesting topic. Please let me know what you think in the comments below. Garnier has created these hair masks which are their first 98% naturally derived hair masks (called Treats), enriched with super fruits, and have 3 possible uses. It is a natural-origin, 3-in-1 product that is designed to smoothen, strengthen, repair, revive colour and nourish your hair.  Where I get stuck is that the product is #vegan, which is really great... however Garnier is owned by L'Oreal who tests on animals. Awkward. And of course, im stoked that no animal products were used to MAKE this hair mask, and the hair masks/treats do work really well. For a drugstore brand, it's a decent effort and may be a good option for anyone on a budget. But idk, what do you all think? I guess I'm just a bit disappointed in the fact that the parent company still tests on animals. Also, full disclosure, I was sent this in exchange for an Instagram post and review on THEIR site, along with many other bloggers, I assume. During the process, their PR rep wasn't very forthcoming regarding the ingredients and I half expected to find carmine in the list of ingredients since they were so tight lipped. I was fully prepared to have to mail the item back. I get that they need to protect their brand but when you're asking niche bloggers who bank on the trust of their audience to offer up their platform to your product, it would be considerate to be more transparent. Haha THAT is how you end up with reviews like this. Anyway. I don't know. Like I said, the product does work very well, is inexpensive and vegan and highly accessible. You can’t fake “healthy hair”. Unless you wear extensions I guess🤷🏻‍♀️ But for reals I’ve been using the @garniercan goji berry hair mask in the shower and it’s made a world of a difference to when I style it. Sharing one of the ways that I’m battling seasonal static and flyaways, the lovely product of our cold and dry climate in Alberta. In addition to switching to a wooden hairbrush (yep, you read that right), I’m loving the @garnier Fructis Nourishing Treat 1-Minute Mask. These new masks (there are five!) are derived from 98% natural ingredients and can be used three ways: as a hair mask, as a conditioner, or as a leave in treatment. I love using it all three ways and it’s been making my hair feel so soft and smooth.
