Chino, 5 week old rescue being bottled feed, snuggled in a wrap as he would be under his mom’s wing arm. Rescues need frequent feedings. The combination of looking for rescues and then caring for them medically is demanding. Yesterday I occupied Kim to search for wallabies in need of rescues- all were dead on the side of the road, I lost count, the mother and child one was an extreme sight, all hit by cars, not on a highway but in residential areas. Then there were the found bats, none alive. This rescue search is done everyday by a community of dedicated compassionate caretakers. Certainly challenging is also balancing a job and do the search and maintaining care. I am grateful to accompany Kim on her rescue work and witness her Stamina to loss, dedication and work feeding and cleaning. #SpectacledFlyingFox #rescue #FruitEaters @guggfellows #GuggheimFellowshipProject (at Cairns, Queensland, Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/Br8UkHDAxgO/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=g1czlvsxj8kp
I have to wait until lunch time to eat these lovely plums my dad brought home from a friend. Dry fasting right now, but later these babies will be so good! #myfruitthing #Fruitarian #drmorse Fruitarianism #plums #fruiteaters #vegan #rawveganfruitarian
