how many WIPs do you have going (that will actually be finished, you think?). and, what's your favourite type of story?
I don’t know if this happens to you (although I suspect it does), but I get attacked by plot bunnies with VERY little notice. Thankfully I can keep a lot of them penned in, but I have 5 that I’d really like to see published, finally and fully.
1) A Banisher’s Dilemma (Chapter 6/Reboot) - I’ve loved this one since the moment I penned it and I still do. The mini-story I did for it a few months back got a surprising amount of attention! I never knew that story had staying power. I always wanted to get back to it, and now I’ve made steps towards that goal :D
2) “The Bodyguard!au” - An otherwise untitled fic, this one started out in 2016, a gift to @jabs-wocks for their sUPER cool fan art of a badass Elsa and a young Anna. This is one I made my New Year’s Resolution to finish, and that’s more or less on track, COVID-19 notwithstanding
3) The “Roman/Cyborg!au” - This one is yours orz, I promise I haven’t forgotten!! Since April I’ve essentially been working 40+ hours again on top of side projects, BUT I want this one out and done so you can READ IT!! Is special!
4) Cuddle Corner 2 - Continuation of the first Cuddle Corner :D, a fic where Elsa is a professional cuddler and Anna is recommended her to deal with some stress and personal issues. The first one did not end on an upswing, and I started writing a part 2 to fix that xD
5) “Untitled Emily Kaldwin/Meagan Foster Dishonored Fic” - Curveball: NOT Frozen related! I’m a huge fan of the Dishonored series and I always thought Emily and Meagan had a cool dynamic. I may not publish it on tumblr, but I’d like to on Ao3 and FF.net.
Soft 6) is the recently seen Star Wars!Frozen crossover. It’s just, I feel bad it languished unseen and unread for //4 YEARS// in my GDrive. Right now it’s mostly editing and reorganizing, but at some point I’ll need to add to it. Worth sharing though, it really is a fun and bright read from two fandoms that I enjoy very much!!
My favorite type of story is slice of life! I love characters chillin’ with each other between ‘episodes’, or hardships, or in quiet moments where nothing matters but the other(s). I also adore stories that feature unshakable mutual trust. Not necessarily conflict free, mind, but like, the “when everything else burns down and I don’t know where to turn, I know I’ll already find you waiting” type stuff. *chef’s kiss* I DEVOUR that stuff, bury me in it.
