Day 7: Fav ship in S1?

Ah man. Kyo/Tohru, even though they weren’t officially together, or even aware of their feelings, for that matter. 

From the start, it was obvious to me that Tohru would end up with either Yuki or Kyo. I honestly assumed it would be Yuki, because he’s the “prince charming” for most of the series. But, I had a soft spot for Kyo right from the get-go, so I put my money on him. And, SPOILERS: I was right, and I am so happy I was. 

These two honestly make such a great pair. They communicate without even speaking. They goof off, but they can also have serious moments and conversations. They balance each other out. They make each other better, without trying to change each other. Most importantly, it is so incredibly obvious that there is so much love between them. 

I’m a sucker for this couple. They’re the kind of pair that makes you hope for a love like theirs, and arguably one of the best anime/manga pairs out there. Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk.
