My sister has a roleplay partner she’s been writing with for eight years. I try to find one and I keep getting directed to ai. No. I require a human. “You mean an ai app that has ‘human’ in its name?” No! A human! Please!

Gonna say that every time the ADHD tax is levied, there's been a cascading failure.
Example:
I didn't get round to requesting more ADHD medication before it ran out, and spent a week unmedicated.
I'm stressed because I've not been getting stuff done at work.
(I've booked a lunchtime swimming session, but) I'm running late because I got caught up in something at work.
As I'm leaving I realise my smart watch is almost out of battery so grab the cable to charge it a bit on the way to the pool.
I'm rushing because I'm running late, so I don't put my watch on before getting out of the car — I can put it on while walking into the building.
There's too much stuff in my hands as I walk through the car park
I drop my phone, cracking the screen
Every failure step is a consequence of the last one, and each pushes something to the limit thinking that it'll be fine.
"I'm in this situation but I'm carrying on without really thinking about it, because (theoretically) I can do it with no or manageable negative consequences."
And nine times out of ten I can get away with it.
Except I do this constantly and those 10%s really add up.
What is the point of putting tw infront of words in tags? Like just block whatever the actual word is? Yall just invented ANOTHER string of words to have to block. Now ppl have to block the single word AND tw ____ that’s so fucking stupid
It would be so nice if I didn't lag in Arborstone every time I use the zip line so I didn't fall to my death every single time :)
Oh my god I'm so mad
I woke up today to a phonecall from one of my potential employers, I literally only had time to pick up the phone and see who was calling before I missed the call and it wouldn't let me call them back for some reason
I was supposed to leave the house for multiple things today and have not because I was waiting for this phone call and now it's 5pm with absolutely nothing this day has been wasted
Grrrrrr so mad but also terrified that missing that one phonecall has lost me the job (logically I know that wouldn't make sense but anxiety go brrr)
I've been kindly given a book on cyberespionage, and I just cannot handle the derogatory way the author talks about hackers, software engineers, or non-Americans. Which is almost everyone mentioned.
Like, these are your peers and your sources. They are not a monolith.
my call-out post was flagged as in violation of tumblr’s community guidelines, wtf @staff lmao
STOP REPLYING TO OUR CHILD ABUSE POSTS ABOUT HOW YOU ARE GOING TO ABUSE YOUR CHILD.
I do not fucking CARE. You lay your hand on your child, THAT IS CHILD ABUSE. Spanking, hitting, pushing, yanking, anything. It is abuse. You are a bad, gross, abusive parent or future parent. There is no form of “better” or “soft” hitting/spanking/abuse. Physical assault is not the only way to instill lessons and values. It’s a shitty way to in the first place. Stop trying to excuse it, or dont have or ever take care of children. The end.
