LOVEEE YOUR RWBY REDESIGNS (also Ruby's Chinese name!!!) but I gotta ask, why change Beacons uniform to green? Is it because it's Vale's colors?

Yes, also making it more unified like Atlas Acad being white/Grey Because first thing we see of Vale's signature color (because we haven't seen its emblem or color), is Beacon Academy with its tower with the green orbs and its headmaster Ozpin also wearing Green, making its signature color Green, but the uniforms are Blue and Red? Its not very unified, if didn't know the lore I would assume the students are from a different academy.

im OBSESSED with that ruby screenshot redraw, you need to tell me EVERYTHING about her chinese name, the stamp, the question mark next to her age that i assuming is orientation

Her actual/legal name is Qiang Hongyu Long (pronounced: Qiáng hóng yùlóng) But her EN name is Ruby Rose taken after one of her mothers, Summer Rose Qiang -> meaning either strong or rose Hongyu -> meaning varies per google result but most of them have the meaning ''red'' and/or ''jade'' included Both Taiyang, Yang and Ruby speak Chinese and English but Yang is the only one who can also speak Japanese (both formal and informal but mostly informal) Chinese Stamp/Seal (for those who dont know):

Her's and Yang's are a gift from Taiyang, for prep as future huntresses (contracts etc.). However Ruby uses them currently to sign her weapon blueprints

Also yes the Question mark next to the age is the orientation

kali is somehow attached to Salem?? That’s really interesting I’ve never seen someone make Blake’s parents that important to the plot, do you have enough lore to elaborate on that? I’m very curious to the why and how there, and how it’s attached to Blake & Adam’s relationship

Kali would be a Head priestess and Ghira would be a guard/head of the guard for (one of) Salem's temple(s) in Mistral/Menagerie. Although she doesn't do it a lot but she can communicate directly with Salem via prayers. She's and Ghira are more conservative/religious than in the show, forcing Blake to date Adam, giving Blake more reason to run away from Adam and her family + a hint of generational trauma pictured Unfinished design of Kali

Yes, although Atlas wont be changed much, considering it already has uniforms that seem more military. Haven is not gonna keep the black uniform, I think that would be a more fitting for Shade Academy However Shade doesn't seem to have uniforms, they attend in their casuals, which makes sense if you live in a hostile environment, uniforms is more of a luxury than a necessity. I think they would just give the students a Broiche and keep it at that

Your Ruby drawing looks really cool! And I’m wondering what the like, twist/plot of your AU is?

I don't think of it as an AU specifically but more as a rewrite of sort. The big plot beats haven't really changed, mostly like world-building and personal relationships between characters like for example Raven works for Salem directly but unwillingly after Summer's death and so does Adam + Raven has trained Adam Qrow is a double Agent/Hunter or Team STRQ is a quad/poly relationship (and all 4 are the parents of Ruby and Yang) Raven and Qrow are not siblings/related in my version (TO BE CLEAR in canon I would not ship Raven and Qrow with each other! !incest is disgusting! adding this because I know how this would come across)
