Alcides would fit in quite well in the Absolute universe of DC. A symbol of divinity and strength gets corrupted by evil and becomes an Avenger seeking to destroy the world of the gods. His story fits the theme of the other characters.

I think he probably would become an rival for Diana.

ngl hippolyta's reaction to gil in fate/strange fake is one of my favorites. as soon as she appears she tells him to stay out of her fight with alcides, and when he does attack her, she reiterates with annoyance that she told him not to interfere. when she learns that he's a king her response word-for-word is "a king? you?" like she couldn't possibly believe that this pompous peacock of a twink with terrible fashion sense could be a king
