Zelda design concept! It's based on the manga, her in-game design, and a design by jackie-kawaii!

Don't mind that these are lazily recolored versions of the last post. I did something fun with their eyes inspired by the way @entiqua does them!

2nd style concept! This one is a bit more like the Four Swords Manga style. (More details + updates under the cut!)

I didn't bother with lineart here, but our plan is to do a kind of 3d toon shader and border detection. Below is an example taken from the Cel Shading Wikipedia page.

At the moment, I don't have access to my good computer as I'm on vacation until the 19th, and after that I'll be working on moving. At the moment, we only have me (the director) and one other 3d modeler. I hope to open up 3d modelling auditions once voice acting auditions are over and we have the outline finished (which should be soon!)

Once we have all our roles picked out, we still may keep some people in mind for non-named roles (crowd members and other characters that might only speak once or twice). These non-named roles will be brought on as we need them.

As for Link himself, we are extending auditions for him to December 31st. A list of less auditioned for characters will come out later today!

Hey there! As we near the end of the year, auditions for FSRA are ending too!

Auditions slowed down a TON after auditions for the Links ended, and I fear we may not have enough submissions by the end of 2023. I humbly ask that those all across the Zelda community, even if you're not specifically a fan of Four Swords, reblog this and spread the word. I feel like we can make something truely amazing.

Admittedly, this is my first time doing something like this, so I'm learning things as I go. I'm realizing a few mistakes I've made early on in putting this out there, and now I'm trying to push through and roll with the punches. Thank you all for sticking with me through all of this, and I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's auditions next year!

Happy new year, everyone! Quick update on auditions, we're extending them!

We didn't get enough auditions in time to cast everyone, and we'd like more time to work on the script and other things especially with everyone on the team being so busy. We'll give the new due date when more progress has been made. In the meantime, good luck!

You might notice that two roles (Valensuela and Red) are missing. This is because we already have two lovely voices for them! Red is voiced by @dreamyycarnival, and Valensuela is voiced by @thefranticphantasm.

Any other role is completely open! Have fun!
