Work in progress from blast from the past: starting with a strip in grade 00 base 10 (accidentally lens wide open at 4.0), then base 5(lens properly at f=8.0), then grade 5 base 5, settling preliminary at + 1/2 stop (base 5 seconds) for grade 5, testrip grade 00 base 5, on top of THAT, settling at +1/2 stop for grade 00... sounds gibberish for some?! Read up on f-stop printing which a truly magical way to set exposure linked to print densities WITHOUT settling on time. So if I want to scale things up, all I need is to get the new base exposure and adjust based on my printing record with f-stops. #darkroomphotography #darkroomunderground #darkroommagic #ilfordphoto #multigrade #fstopprinting #splitgradeprinting (hier: Hamburg, Germany)
