✰ ft. bronson !
despite the extravagance of their resort hotel and the vast amenities it had to offer, kendall found herself gravitating, more often than not, to the private beach. there was something about being in such close proximity to the sea that relaxed her in a way that tanning poolside didn’t. so with a strawberry daiquiri in hand, she made herself comfortable atop the beach towel she had previously set out in the sand. it was relatively quiet for the time of day and kendall found herself oddly grateful for it. since the events at skylar’s party she had been trying to distance herself from all of the drama. and so far, she had been reasonably successful in doing so. things were actually going startlingly well for her despite all that had transpired and she desperately tried to ignore the part of her mind that told her it was only matter of time before she screwed it all up again. she had just started to unwind when she spotted a familiar silhouette down the beach, fiery red hair illuminated by the sun immediately giving him away. after the gossip blog blast, they had only communicated briefly through text. but before their kiss and the awkwardness that ensued ( promptly followed by the drama upon his return from aspen ) the two of them had been friends. and now that a couple of weeks had been put between them and the disastrous days spent snowed in at skylar’s, she felt an undeniable need to check in with him. so decidedly, she pushed herself up onto her elbows, drink still firmly in hand. ‘ hey, bronson ! over here ! ’ she called, motioning with her free hand for him to come and join her.
