             And here it was, the moment that she had been waiting for. It had been months, months of doctors appointments, months of false hope. But Arielle had been feeling weird the last few weeks, getting really sick easily, craving weird things, but she threw it off as something else, maybe a flu, a cold? But nothing could change the actual reason she had, sitting right in her hand. The white stick, showing two solid pink lines across the screen. Arielle was pregnant. This was what the two had been trying to do, wanting to start a family and be there with each other all the time and make it all work, and now..it was starting. Walking out of the bathroom, not even telling Audrey why she was in there so long, the female made her way into the kitchen to start making lunch. Going on about her time, once she was finished with lunch she walked into the bedroom to change clothes, getting ready for her check up appointment with her doctor, which oddly enough was today.

by this point of the evening, eliot’s enjoying a nice buzz. tipsy and braving the crowd clamouring around the open bar. he doesn’t drink heavily often. but on nights like these, when revelry and mischief runs rife through the air, it’s hard not to get caught up in the spirit of things. even just for a while. 

“audrey!” a hand reaches out to gently clasp his fellow opal’s wrist at the bar after catching sight of her, relieved to see a familiar face. “ i asked for just the one shot, but the bartender gave me two and i didn’t want to correct him... so, would you do me the honour of being my drinking buddy for the next few minutes?” gaze shifts to the two glasses lined up on the bar, before returning back to his friend with a wide smile. “please?” eliot adds on politely, baby blue eyes that had won his parents over far too often displaying their charm.

            It had gotten colder, that was for sure. And even though Arielle now had a little more fat on her bones, she blamed the growing baby in her stomach, she still felt way too chilly for comfort. Her hands moved down to pull at the knit dress that she was wearing, pared with white vans and some leggings, but nothing was making it warmer. “When did it get so cold out here? Im not a big fan..” She whined, her dark eyes over on her mother who had actually decided to come down to stay with the two instead of the other way around. Knowing that she was now going to be a grandmother was making the female easier to be around, she wanted to spend time with them and help them in any way that she could. The two had been looking at houses, looking at baby stuff, all while Audrey had been at work, getting things taken care of for them. Of course, Arielle was helping, working on her online schooling, and doing all her work from home, it made it so much easier for her to live. “We have to get a pumpkin picked out so Audrey can help carve it for the front of the new house. I told her we were here. Im not too sure when she is supposed to get off..” The now brunette whispered, dark eyes looking around for her significant other.
