Charlotte’s been back to work a few days already, and while the first couple of days had been hard in terms of adaptation and all, it had been smooth for the most part since then. It’s been successfully keeping her busy, with an influx of appointments and documentations and research to do that had been somewhat left on hold while she was taking her days off to cope with her brother’s imprisonment. She was walking home when she saw someone drop something. “Oh, excuse me…” She rushes over, picking up a wallet and going to the woman. “Sorry, you dropped this.”

THE WORLD IS ENDING. but there is no crime. the streets of bludhaven are empty. dick supposes even low lives are spending their last remaining moments with someone. if dick could pick, he’d pick bruce. but bruce is gone. and even now the guilt is eating him up. he should have never left gotham.

as a promise to kate, he said he’d watch over gotham tonight. so he dons his suit and skulks on the rooftops. surprise catches him when static comes alive in his ear. the bat comms haven’t been utilized in ages. 

“ did kate message you too? “ dick asks knowing exactly who is trying to message him on the other end, “ where are you now? “
