the pair were in her run down apartment, she was on the opposite side of the room of him. her arms were crossed over her chest, a slight look of worry on her face as she chewed on the nail of her index finger, waiting for him to finish what he came here for. “just kill it, please!” relaine began to pace back and forth, her eyes not leaving the male. she watched as he swung the shoe against the wall and she let out a small shriek. there was now a small brownish-black smudge on her wall. “thanks, i owe you,” a small laugh escaped from her lips, knowing that she has taken on bigger and tougher things and she couldn’t take out a spider. she watched as he made her way to the kitchen, grabbing a paper towel and back towards the spot where the killing took place.

the first moment he was walking and then the next he was on the floor. the brunette let out a laugh and walked on over to him before offering a hand. “you alright there, clumsy? did it make your knees weak knowing you’ve killed a spider that could’ve possibly killed you? it’s okay, you’ve survived and now you get a cup of coffee.”
