@wsxhyuk — continued from here
the more the conversation progresses, the more she wonders why she even tries with hyuk. his words carry such a weight on her that at times, she feels as though she had just been dropped a tonne of bricks onto her shoulders. arms cross before her, as he spoke, of course she cares. why else would she be here? though, he wasn’t wrong in the way her contradictions shape her words, she lets dulled hues roll before a sigh slowly leaving past her tinted lips. “fuck off?” she repeats, brows arching above already tired optics, “you’re telling me to fuck off? after everything, you’re going to tell me to fuck off? are you serious?”
she lets her gaze settle on his features, lets it graze the side of his profile, it was frustrating because even in this moment when she wanted to punch the lights out of him, she still found him somewhat... cute. though, she lets the thought die down, lets her gaze narrow to a side eye. “you’re really messed up, do you know that?” it was chuseok and she wasn’t going to spend yet another year being berated by her mother, marco was spending it at the graveyard as far as she knew and that was way too depressing for even her to handle.
“as i was saying... am i supposed to care that you sent messages and that you claimed to have called numerous times? i’m already over it as much as i’m about to be over you, in three seconds if you don’t come here and hug it out with me.” as much as she despises physical affection at this point, hyuk was an exception. a safe place that she has only managed to regain as of late. she was desperate for a place to call home, and if it meant spending chuseok with hyuk after everything that had transpired, so be it. at least he felt more safe than her own mother.
