I’ve been rereading @sircantus SBI/twinduo fic “Blood brothers” again and I had to make a silly doodle comic of some scenes (this will not be the last time I do this for blood brothers fic 💀💀)

tommyinnit rents from villain sbi

its a very nice apartment, but lowkey everybody on the streets knows its owned by the syndicate, its the only nice place in the lower lmanberg area that the sydicate rule over so its clearly owned by rich people, and the building is literally always avoided by the syndicate members in fights, so nobody wants to live there

civilian tommy is so broke and desperate he pretends he has no clue. he turns the other way.

he meets up with a blonde guy, one of 3 property managers/landlords, and he pretends he doesn't see the similarity's to a certain winged villain,

he tours the apartment, pretends to still be considering and asks questions calmly. he signs the papers necessary and confirms move in without comment

he has to pretend to be basically blind past that point.

he soon finds out all the syndicate members are his neighbors. literally all of them. they arent quiet when arguing with each other about their wins and loses against heros, and the walls, while not that thin, are not soundproof.

tommy doesn't know how these people are even still at large and not arrested yet.

the guy across the hall from him has such recognizable bubblegum pink hair tommy guessed which member he was instantly

they are trying to befriend him. they bring house warming gifts. a women who introduces herself as niki makes him bread and cookies. a guy named jack comes with her and introduces himself as the maintenance man.

the man named philza who is his landlord is clearly thrilled to have a Tennent. he asks if tommy needs anything fixed atleast 4 times a week.

a man named wilbur, phils son, insists that tommy come to movie night with his father and brother.

and then he insists they all have a sleepover too.

tommy is going to lose his mind.

meanwhile sbi think tommy is a fellow villain or possibly a vigilante.

everybody else leaves the apartment building alone because of the rumours, clearly either tommy doesn't believe them or he knows and is just unafraid of the syndicate.

which totally means hes chill with them completely and about to be their new friend fr.

theyve started letting themselves into his apartment.

tommy doesnt know if its legal or if they just have spare keys but its not like he can report it without risking exposing the syndicate members, and hes kinda attached and committed to keeping their secret at this point.

plus they've been subtly refilling his pantry whenever they come by without mentioning it and tommy's not an ingrate.

Silly dark sbi of the bog standard ‘Phil kidnaps Techno for sonboyification purposes’ variety, only Philza is really, really bad at it. He’s not a secret crime lord or insanely powerful or immortal or anything. The most average human ever. He’s looking up tutorials for how to kidnap someone. Techno asks to leave once and he immediately folds and barely recovers by making the saddest kicked puppy eyes ever and it would be too awkward to refuse. Philza literally apologizes the entire time and stresses that none of what he’s doing is okay but he has to.

Eventually a very annoyed (and maybe a little endeared) Techno is just like ‘bruh then why are you doing this?’

And Philza is like ‘there’s been a wave of local crime and I’m really scared you’ll get murdered but if I keep you with me I can protect you please mate don’t go it’s dark and scary out there 😭😭😭😭’

And Techno, the local serial killer, just blinks at him.

shoutout to dark sbi fics for grasping me by the shoulders and singlehandedly dragging me back screaming to this fandom, heck i didn't even originate from this specific side of mcyt, nonetheless read found family but it rewired my brain and i've been here for a year now whoopdedo guess this is a forever house

sbi are pouting in the corner about this poor baby who obviously needs them to help him with his suppressed instincts

and tommy is just having a bad time overall and wondering what the hell these vampires want to kill him about so badly that theyre still trying to lure him off all the time.

I think I love dark/possessive SBI so much because the idea of someone loving you so deeply and so dearly that they do everything in their power to be your family, regardless of the consequences or what they have to do to be it.

Like that. That means a lot to me.
