"So what's good here?" Kol's deep rasp wasn't much beyond a mumble. Between his alcohol intake and the sun's rays he felt as though he were drying up, and stopping at a food vendor seemed like a good way to avoid all the random, casual chatter. It was understandable, being approached for conversation at a public event, but he hadn't exactly made the choice to be here. A familiar face in the crowd eliminated having to go through more small talk. His shirt was still tucked into the waistband of his shorts and hanging at the hip, bunny ears were still atop his head, but in his hand was a nearly empty bottle of water. The break from alcohol had been forced by the judgements from the vendors, not because he wanted to hydrate. "You look great," Kol complimented, his blue eyes dipped all the way south to her shoes and back up. "It's not just the ex-husband thats going to be having regrets today." It was an attempt at humor but his voice was dry and he was squinting under the blare of the sun.
