Amberly was curled up next to her mother, sleeping soundly and without any worry in the world-
“HEY, SIS!”
“G-AAAHH!!!”
Dallas was bouncing around, once jumping over Oaklyn; she groaned, having also been startled by her son’s hollering, and yawned. “…mmm… happy birthday, guys,” she said with a stretch of her forelegs, then sat up and licked Amberly’s cheek. She did the same to Dallas before he could pull away.
“Ah- n- Mom! Ew…” Dallas grumbled, rubbing his cheek. His cheeks were tinted pink, but it wore off quickly after the Pomeranian flew off- probably to find Charlie.
“Amberly, why are you still being so lazy?! It’s our BIRTHDAY, dude, and it’s almost ten o’clock!!”
“I was up late trying to help Annabelle calm a poor puppy down. The one that YOU told that bedbugs were real,” she answered, shooting him a glare. “Her parents aren’t too happy, y’know.”
“Whatever- th’ kid’s too sheltered, anyway. Now c’mon!”
Dallas grabbed Amberly’s wrists as she gasped and pulled her into the air with him.
“We got a birthday ‘ta celebrate!”
