ella had been convinced by someone... she still wasn't sure who. that one dance wouldn't hurt. one dance somehow turned into an overly ambitious spin that ended with the heel of her shoe catching the edge of the floor. she stumbled forward with a surprised yelp, arms pinwheeling before accidentally colliding straight into florian.
"oh, no!" she winced, steadying herself as she looked him over with wide, apologetic eyes. "please tell me i didn't just hurt my brother-in-law at the ball. i don't think the family would ever let me live that down."
