peace offering
After attending the concert in Los Angeles, Noeul had recalled for several days the post-concert high that he felt when he was returning to their temporary dorm. A part of him was jealous that he couldn’t attend the other venues and experience that high once more. He wondered if his other fellow trainees felt similar to him. Although, Noeul wouldn’t have been satisfied with just attending the concert. Lately, the more Noeul thought about debuting, the more far away that goal appeared to him despite snatching the opportunity to be an active participant in the concert. It was a momentous moment for him as a trainee, but he had tried his best to appear nonchalant about the experience.
He had lingered near the stage for the most part of the concert, observing the artist’s performances and being in awed about their impressive display of stamina and unwavering energy throughout their transitions. He had managed to stand in the same spot backstage, occasionally crouching down when he became tired or someone shorter appeared to watch the performances. Despite him trying to be mindful of allowing others to have a decent view, Noeul hadn’t noticed that he had been obstructing Sarang’s view during the last song.
“I-I’m sorry, Sarang. I hadn’t noticed you were behind me.” He attempts to speak over the music, bowing his head in apology just in case that ( @lgcsarang ) couldn’t hear him. He motions for her to stand in front of him, pulling out the small bag of sugar cookies he had been saving in the pocket of his jacket. The bow around the plastic bag was still in tact from when he took it off the crafts services backstage. Little did he know that his peace offering would be more salty than sweet. “Would you like some?”
