isabella had been glued to her phone since her album had come out having had to reschedule her release party she couldn’t take her eyes off any kind of social media even now as she sat with serenity still trying to avoid going home until she knew all the lights would be turned out and her mother no where in sight. “on a scale of one to ten how stupid would it be to just go party and hook up with a stranger? or is that too much of me?” she questioned not really paying attention to the words coming out of her own mouth, “or like i know you dislike him but like letting chad corrupt me until i can stop thinking about how crappy this year is already.”

benji was always one who felt bad when he left christmas presents for the special people in his life till after the new year but he had and he was making sure to stop by to see serenity. after texting her to make sure she was home he carried the neatly packaged gift bag her had walked up the front stairs leading to her front door before he knocked awaiting her arrival. putting on a smile when she opened the door, “i’m gonna say it before you make it weird, but i missed you and i’m officially here to deliver presents.”

it had been awhile since they last hung out. the last being when she interrogated him about what had been going on with him and lennon. since the last time something in him switched and he’d been going out he flipped out on the blonde unintentionally but he had to go back to the nice guy because who he was becoming he didn’t like. meeting up with serenity was like the reset he needed, “so you’re not going to look at me like a kicked puppy again are you?” he asked as the sat on the couch, “or abuse me with pillows?” he teased with a smile before he shook his head, “im kidding, don’t look at me like that.”

she waited a couple days after friendsgiving to see the girl. she waited a couple days of sitting at the ice rink watching others skate watching her old life go by her when she showed up to serenity’s house, “now i said the next time i came to your place i would be full best of both worlds doing it but i don’t have the energy for that.” she shook her head as she looked at the other female. letting out a heavy breath she began to smile, “but besides that you should know you no longer have to keep the secret... i told them things were getting bad and i needed to tell them.” she said with a shake of her head before closing her eyes softly for a moment, “you were right.”

location: waiting in line for a ride

they had to be waiting in one of the longest lines he could possibly imagine but anthony had promised he’d ride some rides with serenity earlier when he passed her as he circled the halloween festival so here they were waiting in line. looking up at the ride he couldn’t believe they’d pick one of the most popular rides but here they were. when the ride once again stopped again he looked over at the girl because it looked like they’d finally were able to get on this time around, “you’re not going to scream in my ear are you? because prepare me now?”
