CLOSED STARTER @valleyxrose WHERE: cardinal hill, around the corner from dahlia's apartment
On a corner of Cardinal Hill sat Dahlia with her guitar. Her guitar case lay open beside her as she strummed the chords of a familiar melody, and she sang softly, almost to herself. She had been on her way home, but didn’t feel the need to rush to an empty apartment and so she made herself comfortable and decided to just enjoy the sights and sounds of the neighborhood. Dahlia had let her mind wander, her fingers dancing over the strings, so she did not notice the woman that had approached her until a one-hundred dollar bill landed in her open guitar case. Abruptly stopping her playing, her head snapped up to find the owner of said-bill. “Oh! No, I’m sorry – I wasn’t busking, you don’t have to do that!” she bent down to grab the dollar bill and hand it back to the woman. “I’m not sure you meant to drop this bill anyway.”
